New Year? New we.

Well, it’s coming in a bit late - but welcome to 2025 everyone!

2024 was an interesting year - I got to experience a lot of different events. Launched two games, watched over tow others, worked with Nintendo, Edgar Wright, and James McAvoy, and overall did a lot of really cool stuff.

At the same time 2024 was not great. I was sadly a victim of the overall game industry crash - so have joined the over 14,600 people to loose their jobs this year. Things also were shaken up in my personal life, with responsibilities, social situations, and living situations changing rather dramatically. So I figured if we’re going into 2025 with such a big change. Lets make it official.

When I created this site - the idea was to have a separate place to do all my “Real world” stuff. This is where I’d post the boring things, Job updates, SEO searches, that sort of thing - but now as time has gone on I’ve realised the best example of my brand is….well me! So expect this site to become a much larger depository of stuff. Sure it’s gonna continue to have job updates, content creation stuff, all of that - but also more personal blog updates and information.

While 2025 has not started off great for most people - myself included, I am excited to see what the new year hold. Who knows, maybe February will be the real start we all need and we can just write this month off as a weird hold over of 2024.
